Brazil Mission Team

July 31-August 8, 2020

For many years, Bel Air Church has had the honor to partner with Manaus Presbyterian Church (Igreja Presbiteriana de Manaus). IPM's mission is to be a church faithful to the Word of God, missional and relevant in society, and to grow in the areas of worship, evangelization, prayer, teaching, and discipleship in order to reach Manaus, the Amazon, and the world for Christ.

IPM's church members gather and grow through over 500 weekly Bible Study groups! While discipling their members, IPM also outreaches to remote villages along the Rio Negro and Amazon Rivers where access to education, medical care, and fellowship is disadvantaged. As these relationships are fostered and blessed, churches are planted and communities are revived!

These outreaches are made possible by three medical mission boats that venture along the rivers each week carrying team members from IPM and visitors from America (this is where YOU come in!). Each boat is equipped with a doctor's office, dental chair, and a well-stocked pharmacy to serve women, men, and children each day. While patients are being seen, others in the villages are visited by team members who spend time in fellowship, prayer, sports, and Bible-teachings and activities.
