Small Groups

The four cornerstones of our ministry at Bel Air are worship, inreach, outreach, and small groups. At Bel Air, we call the small groups ministry ‘Many Rooms’. Jesus said, “in My Father’s house are many rooms.” You might consider those rooms to be the place where Jesus uniquely communes with each of us; the place where we know Him and are known by Him.

That intimate communion is one of the ways God transforms us as we hear Him and wrestle through our relationship with Him. As a church body, God has established community to further affect our growth as disciples. He puts us in intimate, caring relationships to interact with His Word and world.

A Small Group is six to twelve people with a leader who is connected to Bel Air Presbyterian Church, who gather regularly to Study the Word, Worship the Lord, Care for Each Other, Love our Neighbors, and Relate as Friends.

Get involved!

We are asking you to consider how you might take part: you may lead a group (contact the office for training opportunities) or join a group. We also have ongoing opportunities for people to open their homes as a host for leaders who don’t have a place to hold their group, or to be a Connector and help individuals find the right small group. This season, form or find a Many Rooms small group; invite your friends.

Let’s slow down our busyness and use this time to reach into each others lives and make room for God.

Ways to get involved with Many Rooms:

Join: Take part in a Small Group in your neighborhood. Click here to join a group!

Lead: It is through Small Group leaders that group members are consistently supported, prayed for, connected to the church, and developed to lead. Facilitate transformational community in your neighborhood. Click here for a printable application you can fax or mail to us.

Coach: Nurture and equip Small Group leaders in your neighborhood. To apply or find out more, please contact Jen (x150).

Apprentice: Learn and experience how to lead a Small Group through partnering with an existing leader.

Connect: Help people find the right Small Group. Serve in your neighborhood or Discipleship Community for 30-60 minutes a week at your convenience.

Pray: Join the Many Rooms prayer team to receive email prayer updates during key seasons for Many Rooms.

Use your talents: The Many Rooms team has needs throughout the year for individuals in the entertainment industry (i.e.: filming and post-production), writers, data entry, and other skills. If you would like to see how you might be able to use your talent, please contact us.
