Knowing God by J.I. Packer, Intervarsity Press
This classic work has been the leader in educating the church in the attributes of God for over 30 years.  Helping us better understand God's grace, wrath, majesty, wisdom, etc.  "Knowing God" is an in-depth work for the group that is willing to gain a deeper, clearer understanding of the nature and character of God.  A workbook is suggested, as well, for small group study.
Boundaries in Dating by Henry Cloud and John Townsend, Zondervan Publishing
Cloud and Townsend have authored over 30 books that have dealt with relationships.  This work helps the reader make healthy choices in order to grow healthy dating relationships.
Women of the Old Testament by Gladys Hunt, Life Guide Bible Study Book, Intervarsity Press
This 12 week study guide is for women who want to learn from the women in the Old Testament.  From their loyalty and trials to their sadness, courage and praise, this book sheds light into each women's faith and helps women grow in theirs.
The Dangerous Act of Worship by Mark Labberton, Intervarsity Press
We use the word "worship" to mean a lot of things in the church.  This work addresses the biblical understanding of worship for God's people.  Does worship end at our church door or go out to our city gates? For those who desire to lead a life of worship this is a very timely piece.
Prayer, Finding the Heart's True Home by Richard Foster, Harper Publishing
Author of "Celebration of Discipline," Foster, expands our understanding of the great discipline and privilege of prayer.  To enter into prayer is to enter into the heart of God.  A deep and practical work.
