Staff Accountant

The Finance Office is seeking a part-time Staff Accountant. This 20 hour/week position will be responsible for coordinating the collection, recording, and receipting of contributions and online payments, while providing support to our congregation and staff. Prior bookkeeping experience and proficiency with Excel are required, as is the ability to work well within a team for the benefit of the congregation. Experience with accounting software and database management systems is preferred.

Preschool, Infant and Toddler Teaching Positions

Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool, an NAEYC Accredited and faith-based program, is seeking Preschool, Infant and Toddler Teachers for full time positions. Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field required. All candidates must already have 12 core ECE classes and classroom experience. Three units of Infant and Toddler development are required for infant and toddler roles.

Administrative Assistant

The Spiritual Formation and Soul Care Department (including Women's Ministries) is seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) Administrative Assistant to provide support to the Soul Care team. This position will be responsible for coordinating logistical aspects of retreats, conferences, meetings, and ministry events; maintaining departmental calendar, communication requests, and handling telephone and email inquiries. Previous administrative experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher) required. Ministry experience preferred. Candidate must be detail oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; possess a positive and grace-filled attitude. Hours for this position will be Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. beginning at the end of August.

Café Barista

The Bel Air Café is looking for a part-time barista. Sundays are a must, with hours available during the weekday and Tuesday nights. Applicants can expect 8-20 hours to start, depending on availability. Hours may increase where needed. Some experience in the food service industry or as a barista is a plus, but training will be provided.

A barista's primary responsibilities include preparing various types of coffee and blended drinks on demand and according to customer specifications, as well as handling cash and credit transactions on the register. A barista will also serve food items, including baked goods, soups, salads, and sandwiches, and will be required to adhere to proper food and beverage sanitary standards.

Additional duties include cleaning and arranging the store environment. Providing excellent customer service is among the top priorities of a barista's overall responsibilities. The barista fulfills any other duties the cafe manager assigns and represents Bel Air Presbyterian Church and Cafe in a welcoming and professional manner.
