Executive Director of Operations (EDO)

Bel Air Presbyterian Church is seeking to hire an Executive Director of Operations (EDO) who will work closely with the Senior Pastor as a member of the Executive Team to provide leadership, organization, and support for all operational aspects of the organization and church community. To mentor and develop direct reports, create and develop operational strategies to effectively build a world-class presence, and cultivate a dynamic and engaging environment for staff. He/she must have a passion for improving the wellbeing of others, driven to make a difference, and have a proven track record of successfully leading results-oriented teams.

Compensation and Desired Start Date
Compensation will be commensurate with scope of position and prior experience. This full-time position with salary and benefits will begin first-round interviews in January and has a desired start date of Feb. 2, 2015.

Administrative Assistant

The Outreach Department of Bel Air Presbyterian Church is seeking applicants for the position of Ministry Assistant. This full-time position reports directly to the Interim Director of Outreach. Basic requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree, excellent oral and written communications skills, and a personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. The position requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Calendar. We are also looking for someone proficient in social media (Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube).

This team member will assist with daily operation of the department, coordinate food and setup for meetings, events and urban outreach projects, and assist the department with management of Outreach programs. Also, this team member will assist in coordinating the service of Outreach leaders and volunteers, among other duties.

Preschool Associate Teacher

Bel Air Presbyterian Preschool, accredited through the NAEYC, is seeking an Associate Teacher for their Infant/Toddler/Preschool program totaling 140 students. Applicants with a BA in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or Human Development including at least 12 core ECE units and Infant/Toddler units are encouraged to apply.

Under the direction of the Lead Teacher, the Associate Teacher will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, creative, respectful and developmentally appropriate learning environment and experience for children and families. The Associate Teacher assists the Lead Teacher in curriculum planning, interactions with students, communication with parents, assessment of the development of the children and maintenance of the learning environment.
