Celebrate Recovery
Jesus Christ is our one and only Higher Power. He alone is able to save us from our sins and provide the way of access into heaven. In order to find true healing from our hurts, habits, or dependencies, we must turn our lives and wills over to His care. Paraphrased words of John Baker, founder of Celebrate Recovery, a ministry for those who desire help towards spiritual growth and emotional healing.

If there is bitterness, anger, or depression in your life, if you are suffering from any kind of addiction, etc. please come to our Monday night meetings at 7 p.m. They are based on the Eight Principles of the Sermon on the Mount, and a 12-step, Christ-centered program. Men and women who have experienced Jesus' healing touch will come alongside to help support and disciple people in their journey with Jesus.

Each Monday evening at The Westside Vineyard CR is composed of the following parts:
The Westside Vineyard | 3838 S. Centinela Avenue | Los Angeles, CA 90066 | 310-391-7366
7:00–7:45 p.m. :: Worship, prayer and a lesson drawn from Eight Principles or 12 Steps. For example, Principle One says, "Realize I'm not God; I admit that I am powerless to control my tendency to do the wrong thing and that my life is unmanageable. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:3 Other meetings will alternate with a testimonial from those who have found hope and healing through this ministry.

7:45–8:45 p.m. :: Small Sharing Groups. After the lesson, the larger meeting will break into small groups where attendees will go and have the opportunity to listen and share areas of need and concern.

8:45–9:30 p.m. :: Refreshments and a time of socializing after the meeting itself.

From the Message Bible by Eugene Peterson, Matthew 11: 28–30 ::
"Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me--watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you,. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."
