Children at Bel Air
Childrens' Discipleship Mission
Kid City, Bel Air's Chidrens' Discipleship (CD) Department, is a Discipleship Community dedicated to the development of children as life-long followers of Jesus Christ and to provision of resources that will equip, nuture, and partner with the family and the church community as we invest in their spiritual formation.
We believe that children can and must take part in the church's mission to make Los Angeles the greatest city for Christ. In Kid City, children learn at an early age that they are loved by God and the Christians around them and that they are a necessary part of the church today–not just the church of tomorrow.
Sunday Programs
Sunday School—9 & 11 a.m.
The main Sunday ministry opportunity for children. The program includes learning centers, teaching time and application activity.
Growing Kids—10 a.m.–12 p.m.
An enrichment program designed to compliment the Sunday School experience. Children participate in Growing Kids when their parents volunteer or attend another meeting outside of the worship services.
Afternoon Enrichment—12:30-2:30 p.m.
An afternoon program offered seasonally for children while their parents participate in adult discipleship opportunities on campus. The next Afternoon Enrichment session will be offered Fall 2013.
Events
All Church—various dates/times
Activities for all ages that the whole community can enjoy together.
Age Specific—once a quarter
Preschool/Kindergarten and Elementary age groups have a special event for families about once a quarter.
Service Opportunities—twice a quarter
Families are invited to serve together at one of our partner ministries.
