Bel Air Café
What to Expect Whether you're a lifelong church-goer or this is your first time in a church, you will find a warm welcome at Bel Air Presbyterian Church. Our hope is that you
will take the next step into this community. Visit us this weekend and
experience Bel Air for yourself. Click here for photos of our campus.
When are your services? We know that life in L.A. is busy and that traffic is unpredictable, so we offer four Sunday services at 9 & 11 a.m., and 6 p.m.
Come at 9 a.m. to experience a traditional service—complete with organ,
choir, hymns, and a formal liturgy—in our Sanctuary, or (901) a casual,
interactive experience in our Discipleship Center. The 11 a.m. offers
worship with guitars, drums, and contemporary songs in our Sanctuary.
The 6 p.m. is similar to the 11 a.m., but on a more intimate level.
Candles fill the Sanctuary and worship is extended during this unique
worship experience. All four services have the same message. Pick the service that is most convenient for you. We recommend that you arrive
approximately 30 minutes before the service so you won't feel rushed.
How do I get to Bel Air? Bel Air is located just one mile west of the 405 on Mulholland Drive. It's easy to find! Click here for complete directions.
What can I expect on my first visit? Sunday mornings at Bel Air are active! Once you park and take a walk (or shuttle) up our hill, you will be greeted by friendly faces. If you have children, visit our Classroom Building to drop off the kids before heading to our hour-long worship service in the Sanctuary. Ushers will then greet you and hand you a copy of our weekly bulletin - full of events and classes for you to take part in. Once you take your seat, hold on! It's going to be an amazing hour of music, speaking, and prayer.
After the service, stick around for one of our classes, or head over to our Cafe and enjoy your daily latte or iced coffee while enjoying our view of the San Fernando Valley. Click here for a campus map.
What is a weekend service like? Each week, our worship team and pastors strive to lead our congregation in a meaningful worship experience with a firm foundation in God's Word. Pastor Mark Brewer meets visitors where they live and addresses the tough issues that life in Los Angeles can often present.
In our Traditional Worship Service (9 a.m.) we share in a Celebration of Christ’s love through a worshipful blend of professions of faith, scripture readings and our wonderfully rich tradition of sacred music that combines beloved hymns, sacred choral pieces and worshipful choruses. With the enchanting sounds of our Chancel Choir and Organ we experience a sacred and worshipful environment in which we share together as believers.
Contemporary Worship at Bel Air tries to bring an "ahead of the curve" mentality to the highest possible quality of music
in a worship setting. That being said, it’s basically really good rock
music. The tightrope we try to walk is that of excellence devoid of
showmanship. You won’t find a show. What you’ll find are excellent
musicians pouring out their gifts in the hopes that God uses them to
bring others into His presence.
The 11 a.m. service provides the aforementioned music in a vibrant, energetic setting. And the recently added 901 service (at 9:01am) also provides contemporary music but in a casual and interactive setting in our Discipleship Center. The 6 p.m. service provides the same music in a more contemplative setting, with more room for silence, prayer, and communion.

What does the music sound like? Click here to listen to a sample of our contemporary worship music. You will need Flash Player to hear it. The player will prompt you to download the Flash for free if you don't have it.
What can I wear? When you enter a worship service at Bel Air, you'll instantly notice the diversity in what people wear. Wear something in which you can be "you." Our only request? Out of respect for others, please dress in a way that is appropriate for a Sunday morning rather than a Friday night.
What will my kids experience? We work hard in core (our children's program) to make sure that your children come to a safe, fun environment. When your kids enter our program on Sunday morning, they will experience solid Biblical learning, fellowship with peers and "personalize it"
small group time with teachers. Our dedicated volunteer staff strives each week to guarantee Sunday "on the hill" is the best hour of the week! Click here to find out where to take your children.
Do you have something for students? Absolutely. If you're a Middle School or High School student, Bel Air is the place to be! Middle School students will experience Club 905 (9:05 a.m. in Evans Chapel), which is filled with amazing skits, super-fun worship and best of all connection time in
small groups encountering God. High School students will spend an hour together in small groups and experiencing The Edge, our Sunday High School program (9:00 a.m. in the Student Center).
We hope that you will join us this Sunday so that your expectations may become experiences. See you soon!
